Recruiting
for 2013 is now starting. Ventura County Sheriff's Search &
Rescue is accepting applications for new recruits for their training
to start in January 2013. Prospective members should attend an orientation
to find out just what is involved or expected, then receive a
paperwork package. Prospective members must pass a physical agility test and oral
interviews before being considered for the team. The Ventura County Search &
Rescue Fillmore team does test individuals on their ability to
carry a 30 pound back pack over the course of 3 miles in a time limit of
50 minutes. Afterwards they will be interviewed by a panel of current
members on their desire to become members on the team.
If
you would like to try out for our team
please contact recruitment@VCSAR1.org for the necessary paper work.
