Fillmore's Ventura County Search and Rescue Team (an IRS Non-Profit Organization) is a volunteer organization dedicated to saving lives through search, rescue and mountain safety education. Our members devote thousands of hours yearly to training, educating the public, and search and rescue operations. We provide all our own personal equipment, meals and transportation.

Since we receive no public funds we depend on the support of the community for medical supplies, search and rescue equipment and other team supplies like uniforms and foul weather gear.
